Chromate Conversion of Aluminum

MIL-DTL-5541F.   Please specify Type I or Type II.

Type I Chromate:  Color varies from Clear to Yellow, whichever you require.

Type II Chromate:  Trivalent Clear Chromate, ROHS compliant.

Anodizing of Aluminum

Anodize, sulfuric acid, Black and Clear-  MIL-8625 Type II, Class 1 & 2 

Anodize, Hardcoat, sulfuric acid, Black and Clear- MIL-8625 Type III, Class 1 & 2 

Teflon (MIL-A-63576A) coating over anodized finishes if required.
